Very important: Introduce yourself to the team in this thread. If you do it somewhere else there's a high chance we won't be able to find it later. We need very strong communicators as well as talent and anyone that doesn't appear to have written anything on the website will not have proven themselves a strong communicator. So reply here in this thread, here's a few things you can tell us about to help us get you started:

1) Tell us how you found out about the project (which forum, friend, twitter, social network etc...)

2) Details about your work (links to website, blog, etc...),
3) Your level of interest (offering weekends, a few hours, just watching, etc...)
4) What you want to get out of it for yourself (shot types, long, short, face, 2 characters, etc...)
5) What software you have access to (After Effects CS5, Maya 2009/2011, Windows, Mac, etc...)
6) Mention any special skills or experience you have you think we could use.

Many of the people that show an interest want to work in areas that the project hasn't reached yet so this is a great way for us to keep tabs on the volunteers to let them know when we have reached an appropriate stage in the production to use their skills. Don't post anything too personal though that you wouldn't want in the public domain.

Additionally, please try to answer as many of profile questions as you can, as it makes it so much easier to keep track of everyone's goals and skills. Using a normal picture of yourself (rather than an avatar) is also a very good idea as it fosters an atmosphere of professionalism and trust. Team members are more memorable too if we all know what each other look like... I'm terrible with names, but I'll remember a face! :D

While you wait to hear from us read through the Animator's Handbook and the Lighting and Rendering Handbook. When you're ready to take on a task check out our Jobs page for an up to date list of tasks and their progress.

UPDATE - Please note that although 'Devils Angels & Dating' is nearing completion and isn't looking for new team members there are other projects that are signing up in the forum looking for volunteers, so feel free to continue to sign up and introduce yourselves, then approach any project leaders you're interested in working with. They will also be approaching you through this site to find the talent they are looking for.

Hi guys! i suppose i am a little too late to join this short film as 3D animator, but i would love to help out for this short film, if it is still possible for now.

Just a simple introduction of myself, I'm an animator from Malaysia. Consider a fresh grad since I've been at industry for around 3 months plus..

Anyway nice work there! Really hope that I can contribute my skills on this project although is almost finish by now i suppose. If really does i think it's time to wait for the final production :)
