I had the pleasure of meeting with a large number of animation related mini super stars while I was in Hollywood this last week. Here I'm pictured just outside the screen Devils played in with David Andrade a fellow animated film maker, behind 'Nuts for Pizza' http://youtu.be/Ehc3Rqb6nG0 . I also met up with his colleague Juerg Grieder. Both were very kind and gave me a tour of their respective studio work places.

The screening seemed to go very well although since most of the festival was live action shorts Devils did feel a bit out of place. There was an animation block that must have played earlier in the week when I couldn't be there, but the organizers kindly played Devils later in the schedule since they knew I wouldn't be there that early. Seeing it on the big screen was incredible. The details was fantastic, without exposing any issues. So 720p HD worked just fine. Relative to the other films around it the audio track was a bit busy though, and I've already noted that the pace is a bit too fast in places. Beside that though I had a lot of people compliment us on the short, and I was asked to stand up at the front to talk about it a bit after the screening.
