Hitting Walls

I tend to start my day giving feedback and making a to-do list for myself. Today I've failed to complete any of my to-do items. That's not to say as a team we've not progressed quite a lot today, but for one reason or another I'm hitting brick walls on everything important I had to do.

Render Pal - Rendering around the world!

Well not quite yet. But Shane and I managed to get the first offsite rendering computer working with my main server. This means that we'll be able to start adding team members computers to the render farm to speed things up and increase capacity. The only hitch we're currently facing is that it only works for non character based scenes. But I should be able to fix that. Baby sounds

After a few days animating Demon Hands in various shots (too many fingers!!!!), I thought I'd take a break and go through the baby recordings for the ending. After a two hour recording session we had about 30 minutes of recorded material and there's a lot of good stuff here. Ironically Adrain, the baby, was being the quietest baby you can imagine on the day and it was up to the four adults around him to act all silly and try to get him to perform.
